Document Design Samples

In addition to writing experience, I also have experience with document design. These samples demonstrate my ability to follow design standards and create not only well-written, but attractive content. Each of these documents were created with Adobe In-Design, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Tsuanmi Warning Infographic

With this infographic I explain how Tsunami Warning Centers are able to detect tsunamis and warn the public in a timely fashion. This project was completed for the Document and Information design course at CMU.

Providing Pawsable Newsletter

I created this newsletter for Providing Pawsable, an organization that specializes in training service dogs and educating the community. Since I completed this project, the founder has since expanded her services to include breeding service dogs.

Copycat Magazine Design

For this project, I designed a magazine spread imitating National Geographic's style. I designed it around a story I had written about the Masaya Volcano, and it was completed for the Document and Information design course at CMU.
