Alexandra Kirsch
A bit about me:
I'm currently a Senior Technical Writer at Salesforce, and have an M.A. in Professional Writing from Carnegie Mellon University. At Salesforce I write release notes, help content, UI text, video scripts, and an occasional API reference and Trailhead module. My primary audience is the Salesforce admin and end user, and I strive to write documentation and UI text that meets them where they are. I document features in Salesforce CMS, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud Growth.
Before I entered the world of tech, I studied geology and researched several topics including lunar troctolite 76535, acid mine drainage remediation, and how Pittsburgh's geology shaped the city. I've always had a passion for science, and I love blending this passion with my love for writing.

For pleasure, I write creative nonfiction, mostly about science and geology, short stories, and poetry. I also love watercolor painting and charcoal sketches.
I'm currently working on a collection of poems for my grandmother, centered around several of her recipes for baked goods. It's a set of 13 poems, and I'm calling it "A Baker's Dozen." Don't worry, she can't surf the web, and I'm not paying Google to appear in their top search results, so we haven't spoiled the surprise.
